Marnie Olson

Marnie Olson is a critically un-acclaimed writer and actor. Most of her younger days were spent bumping around the independent theatre scene, so no, you've never heard of her.

Marnie is a co-writer, co-producer and co-star of the Award Winning series, Namaste Bitches. Her first novel, Grateful, is available at her affiliate shop on Bookshop.org.

Sophomoric, co-written with Laura Richardson, won Best Comedy Feature Screenplay at the 2025 Portland Comedy Film Festival. Again in Portland, their screenplay Long Term Care won Best Romantic Comedy Feature Screenplay in 2026 and is a finalist in the Georgia Comedy Film Festival.

Marnie lives in Los Angeles, unencumbered by progeny or partner. She is currently pitching and writing screenplays, stories and novels, querying lit agents, auditioning, performing, fighting the patriarchy and cleaning the litter box. In her free time, she beats herself up for not being more productive and successful.
